Energy, Sleep & Recovery

Still tired. Still not recovering. Still not sure why.

Look beyond the obvious. Find what’s getting in the way.

Beyond the Standard Protocol

Feeling off doesn’t always come with one obvious explanation.

Fatigue, poor recovery, and stalled progress in the gym often get blamed on testosterone first. But what happens when your levels are normal—or treatment brings them to normal—and you still don’t feel right?

Traditional primary care isn’t built for this conversation. A standard 15-minute visit is designed for diagnosis and prevention, with most of the time going toward whatever is most urgent. It was never built to figure out why you’re flat by two in the afternoon.

Targeted Diagnostic Testing

The Forge baseline panel is comprehensive by design. It is built to evaluate the major hormonal and metabolic drivers together from the start.

When symptoms persist despite a reassuring baseline, the answer is to look in a specific direction—not cast a broader net. Testing without a clear clinical question can create more noise than clarity, pulling attention toward findings that don’t get us closer to why you still don’t feel well.

That might mean looking for B12 or other vitamin deficiencies, taking a deeper look at iron status, checking markers of inflammation, or ordering another test because something in your history gives us a reason to look there.

Physician-Curated Supplements

Roughly two-thirds of men do not discuss the supplements they take with their doctor. That’s rarely because they are hiding anything—it’s because the doctor never asked, the patient didn’t think it was relevant, or they’ve learned from experience that standard medicine tends to focus on prescriptions.

Because of this, many men are running supplement stacks no one has ever evaluated alongside their actual labs, medications, and health conditions.

Testosterone boosters are a prime example. They are marketed as a natural way to raise testosterone, but most fail to do so meaningfully. If you actually have low testosterone, the supplement aisle is not where I’d expect to fix it.

And testosterone boosters are only one example. Across the supplement world, what’s on the front of the bottle is only part of the story.

Supplements do not go through FDA premarket approval for safety or effectiveness the way medications do. In many cases, a product can reach the market without the FDA ever being notified.

Do you know how much to take? Which form makes sense? Which brands use credible third-party testing? Is the dose on the label actually useful?

Forge can refine what you already take or build a complete supplement regimen from the ground up. We cut through the noise and get specific about:

  • The ingredient and formulation
  • The dose, timing, and combinations
  • The product or brand, and why it belongs in your plan

Training and Recovery

Telling a man to “exercise 150 minutes a week” checks a box. It doesn’t tell him how to train.

Training hard without enough recovery—or without enough energy coming in to support the work—can become part of the problem instead of the solution.

We translate your clinical data into a realistic strategy for your training demands. We look at physical exertion alongside your labs, sleep, health, and recovery—because sometimes the necessary prescription isn’t a pill, but calibrating your training and recovery.

None of this is separate from the rest of your care. Weight loss changes the hormonal and metabolic picture. Sleep apnea drives fatigue. Poor recovery stalls your progress.

One physician sees all of it, and it all lives in one comprehensive plan.

Start with a complete evaluation.
